The 4-week Phase III Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP) for IAS officers was inaugurated on 2nd Dec ‘24. The programme aims to equip officers with essential skills for middle management roles, focusing on the transition from District Administration to Head of Department. Shri Sriram Taranikanti, Director, LBSNAA, in his inaugural address, encouraged the participating officers to reflect upon their learnings from the field and leverage the collective learnings from this course to create a multiplier effect for achieving ViksitBharat. The Director also urged the participants to focus on finding solutions, and contribute not just to the growth story of the nation but also, improve the ease of living for all citizens within it. The MCTP will emphasize excellence in implementation, citizen-centric governance, & bridging knowledge gaps in technology. It will also foster communication & teamwork skills to enhance service delivery & promote value-driven governance.
